Journal ArticleDOI

Tailoring the Activity for Oxygen Evolution Electrocatalysis on Rutile TiO2(110) by Transition-Metal Substitution

TL;DR: In this article, the stability of different doped TiO2 systems was analyzed and the scaling relationship between the binding energies of OER intermediates (HOO* versus HO*) was found to follow essentially the same trend as for undoped oxides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct Methane to Methanol: The Selectivity–Conversion Limit and Design Strategies

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple kinetic model is presented to explain the selectivity-conversion trade-off that hampers continuous partial oxidation of methane to methanol, and two distinct methods are applied to define the model parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal ammine complexes for hydrogen storage

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the possibility of using metal ammine complexes as a solid form of hydrogen storage using Mg(NH3)6Cl2 as the example, and showed that it can store 91% hydrogen by weight in the form of ammonia.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Pt(111)/electrolyte interface under oxygen reduction reaction conditions: an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy study.

TL;DR: The analysis suggests that the two-dimensional structures formed in O(2)-free solution are also formed under ORR conditions, and indicates that the coadsorption of ClO(4)* and Cl* with OH* is unlikely.
