Journal ArticleDOI
Fusobacterium nucleatum Promotes Chemoresistance to Colorectal Cancer by Modulating Autophagy.
Ta Chung Yu,Fangfang Guo,Ya-Nan Yu,Tian-Tian Sun,Dan Ma,Ji-Xuan Han,Yun Qian,Ilona Kryczek,Danfeng Sun,Nisha Nagarsheth,Ying-Xuan Chen,Haoyan Chen,Jie Hong,Weiping Zou,Jing-Yuan Fang +14 more
TL;DR: It is found that Fusobacterium (F.) nucleatum was abundant in colorectal cancer tissues in patients with recurrence post chemotherapy, and was associated with patient clinicopathological characterisitcs, and bioinformatic and functional studies demonstrated that F. nucleatum promoted coloreCTal cancer resistance to chemotherapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
A 16q22.1 variant confers susceptibility to colorectal cancer as a distal regulator of ZFP90.
Chenyang Yu,Ji-Xuan Han,Junfang Zhang,Penglei Jiang,Chaoqin Shen,Fangfang Guo,Jiayin Tang,Tingting Yan,Xianglong Tian,Xiaoqiang Zhu,Dan Ma,Ye Hu,Yuan-Hong Xie,Wan Du,Wan Du,Ming Zhong,Jinxian Chen,Qiang Liu,Danfeng Sun,Danfeng Sun,Ying-Xuan Chen,Weiping Zou,Jie Hong,Haoyan Chen,Jing-Yuan Fang +24 more
TL;DR: Findings reveal a risk SNP-mediated long-range regulation on the NFATC2-ZFP90-BMP4 pathway underlying the initiation of CRC.
Journal ArticleDOI
ZFP90 drives the initiation of colitis-associated colorectal cancer via a microbiota-dependent strategy.
Ji-Xuan Han,Zhi-Hang Tao,Yun Qian,Chenyang Yu,Jialu Li,Zi-Ran Kang,Shiyuan Lu,Yuan-Hong Xie,Jie Hong,Haoyan Chen,Ying-Xuan Chen,Jing-Yuan Fang +11 more
TL;DR: Zfp90-microbiota-NF-κB axis was found to be a putative oncogene in colitis-associated colorectal cancer (CAC).
Journal ArticleDOI
Microbiota-derived tryptophan catabolites mediate the chemopreventive effects of statins on colorectal cancer
Ji-Xuan Han,Zhi-Hang Tao,Ji-Lin Wang,Lu Zhang,Chenyang Yu,Zi-Ran Kang,Yuan-Hong Xie,Jialu Li,Shiyuan Lu,Yun Cui,Jia Xu,En-Hao Zhao,Ming Wang Wang,Jinxian Chen,Zheng Wang,Qian Liu,Huimin Chen,Wen-yu Su,Tian-Hui Zou,Cheng-Bei Zhou,Jie Hong,Haoyan Chen,Hua Xiong,Ying-Xuan Chen,Jingyun Fang +24 more
TL;DR: In this article , the role of the gut microbiome in the protective effect of statins in colorectal cancer was investigated and validated by retrospectively analysing a cohort of patients who underwent colonoscopy.
