Fusobacterium nucleatum Promotes Chemoresistance to Colorectal Cancer by Modulating Autophagy.

TL;DR: It is found that Fusobacterium (F.) nucleatum was abundant in colorectal cancer tissues in patients with recurrence post chemotherapy, and was associated with patient clinicopathological characterisitcs, and bioinformatic and functional studies demonstrated that F. nucleatum promoted coloreCTal cancer resistance to chemotherapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

ZFP90 drives the initiation of colitis-associated colorectal cancer via a microbiota-dependent strategy.

TL;DR: Zfp90-microbiota-NF-κB axis was found to be a putative oncogene in colitis-associated colorectal cancer (CAC).
Journal ArticleDOI

Microbiota-derived tryptophan catabolites mediate the chemopreventive effects of statins on colorectal cancer

TL;DR: In this article , the role of the gut microbiome in the protective effect of statins in colorectal cancer was investigated and validated by retrospectively analysing a cohort of patients who underwent colonoscopy.
