Fusobacterium nucleatum Promotes Chemoresistance to Colorectal Cancer by Modulating Autophagy.
Ta Chung Yu,Fangfang Guo,Ya-Nan Yu,Tian-Tian Sun,Dan Ma,Ji-Xuan Han,Yun Qian,Ilona Kryczek,Danfeng Sun,Nisha Nagarsheth,Ying-Xuan Chen,Haoyan Chen,Jie Hong,Weiping Zou,Jing-Yuan Fang +14 more
TL;DR: It is found that Fusobacterium (F.) nucleatum was abundant in colorectal cancer tissues in patients with recurrence post chemotherapy, and was associated with patient clinicopathological characterisitcs, and bioinformatic and functional studies demonstrated that F. nucleatum promoted coloreCTal cancer resistance to chemotherapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Berberine may rescue Fusobacterium nucleatum -induced colorectal tumorigenesis by modulating the tumor microenvironment
Ya-Nan Yu,TaChung Yu,Hui-Jun Zhao,Tian-Tian Sun,Huimin Chen,Haoyan Chen,Hui-Fang An,Yu-Rong Weng,Jun Yu,Min Li,Wen-Xin Qin,Xiong Ma,Nan Shen,Jie Hong,Jing-Yuan Fang +14 more
TL;DR: F.ucleatum colonization in the intestine may prompt colorectal tumorigenesis, and BBR could rescue F. nucleatum-induced coloreCTal tumorsigenesis by modulating the tumor microenvironment and blocking the activation of tumorigenisation-related pathways.
Journal ArticleDOI
Probiotics Clostridium butyricum and Bacillus subtilis ameliorate intestinal tumorigenesis
Zhao-Fei Chen,Luoyan Ai,Ji-Lin Wang,Lin-Lin Ren,Ya-Nan Yu,Jie Xu,Haoyan Chen,Jun Yu,Min Li,Wen-Xin Qin,Xiong Ma,Nan Shen,Ying-Xuan Chen,Jie Hong,Jing-Yuan Fang +14 more
TL;DR: This work establishes a basis for the protective role of probiotics B. subtilis and C. butyricum in intestinal tumorigenesis and inhibits the development of DMH-induced CRC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Knockdown of ZFX inhibits gastric cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo via downregulating the ERK-MAPK pathway.
Shuai Wu,Xin-Yuan Lao,Tian-Tian Sun,Lin-Lin Ren,Xuan Kong,Ji-Lin Wang,Ying-Chao Wang,Wan Du,Ya-Nan Yu,Yu-Rong Weng,Jie Hong,Jing-Yuan Fang +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated for the first time that knockdown of ZFX inhibited gastric cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo via downregulating the extracellular signal-regulated kinase/mitogen-activated protein kinase (ERK-MAPK) pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI
TMEFF2 Deregulation Contributes to Gastric Carcinogenesis and Indicates Poor Survival Outcome
Tian-Tian Sun,Wan Du,Hua Xiong,Ya-Nan Yu,Yu-Rong Weng,Lin-Lin Ren,Hui-Jun Zhao,Ying-Chao Wang,Ying-Xuan Chen,Jie Xu,Yongbing Xiang,Wen-Xin Qin,Weibiao Cao,Weiping Zou,Haoyan Chen,Jie Hong,Jie Hong,Jing-Yuan Fang +17 more
TL;DR: The role and clinical implication of the transmembrane protein with EGF and two follistatin motifs 2 (TMEFF2) in gastric cancer is poorly understood as discussed by the authors.
