The down-conversion and up-conversion photoluminescence properties of Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3:Yb3+/Pr3+ ceramics

TL;DR: In this paper, the down-conversion (DC) and upconversion photoluminescence (UC) of the ceramics via 453 and 980 nm excitation, respectively, are investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Strong correlation of the electrical properties, up-conversion photoluminescence, and phase structure in Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped (1 − x)K0.5Na0.5NbO3-xLiNbO3 ceramics

TL;DR: In this paper, the up-conversion photoluminescence properties of KNN-xLN:Er/Yb ceramics were investigated based on the Judd-Ofelt and crystallographic symmetry theories.
Journal ArticleDOI

In Situ TEM Study of Interaction between Dislocations and a Single Nanotwin under Nanoindentation

TL;DR: In situ TEM observation of nanoindentation reveals a new insight for the interaction between dislocations and a single nanotwin, which paves the way for design and preparation of high-performance nt surfaces of Ni alloys used for aircraft engines, gas turbines, turbocharger components, ducts, and absorbers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Yb Codoping on the Phase Transition, and Electrical and Photoluminescence Properties in KNLN:Er/xYb Ceramics

TL;DR: In this paper, the phase structure, dielectric, piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties of the ceramics were systematically studied and a relaxor-like phase transition was observed as Yb increasing to over x = 0.004.
Journal ArticleDOI

The NbO6 octahedral distortion and phase structural transition of Eu3+-doped K0.5Na0.5NbO3–xLiNbO3 ferroelectric ceramics

TL;DR: In this paper, a small quantity of Eu3+ ions was doped in the lead-free ferroelectric K0.5Na 0.5nbO3-xLiNbO 3 (KNN-xLN, 0≤x≤0.08) ceramics to investigate the NbO6 octahedral distortion induced by the increasing LN content.
