Studies on chemical constituents of Halenia elliptica guided by in vivo absorption and distribution of the constituents
TL;DR: Low polar components xanthone aglycon of Halenia elliptica were clearly observed in the extracts of liver, lipid, blood, hidney, heart and brain tissue of rats, while the polar componentsxanthone glycosides were detected in very small amounts in the animal samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical constituents from marine alga Chaetomorpha basiretorsa
TL;DR: All these compounds were obtained from this genus for the first time, N-phenyl-2-naphthalenamine and diethyleneglycol monobenzoate were first reported from the marine organisms.
Journal ArticleDOI
[Non-anthraquinones constituents from the roots of Knoxia valerianoides].
Feng Zhao,Sujuan Wang,Xiuli Wu,Yang Yu,Zhenggang Yue,Bo Liu,Sheng Lin,Chenggen Zhu,Yongchun Yang,Jiangong Shi +9 more
TL;DR: In the in vitro assays against human cancer cell lines, against HIV-1 replication, and inhibiting protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1 B), LPS induced NO production in macrophage, and Fe(2+)-cystine induced rat liver microsomal lipid peroxidation, no compound showed activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two folate-derived analogues from an aqueous decoction of Uncaria rhynchophylla.
TL;DR: Two new folate-derived analogues, named uncarophyllofolic acids A (1) and B (2), respectively, were isolated from the Uncaria rhynchophylla hook bearing stem by spectroscopic data analysis in combination with acidic hydrolysis and Marfey's derivatization.
