Journal ArticleDOI

Phelligridimer A, a Highly Oxygenated and Unsaturated 26-Membered Macrocyclic Metabolite with Antioxidant Activity from the Fungus Phellinus igniarius

TL;DR: Phelligridimer A showed antioxidant activity but was inactive to several human cancer cell lines and enzymes PTP1B and thrombin, and a possible biogenesis of 1 mediated by the fungal metabolite hispidin was postulated.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Minor Diterpenoid with a New 6/5/7/3 Fused-ring Skeleton from Euphorbia micractina

TL;DR: A novel diterpenoid with an unprecedented 6/5/7/3 fused-ring skeleton, euphorbactin, was isolated from an ethanol extract of the roots of Euphorbia micractina by extensive spectroscopic studies, especially by 2D NMR and CD data analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bromophenol derivatives from the red alga Rhodomela confervoides.

TL;DR: In this article, bromophenol derivatives, 2,3-dibromo-4,5-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl methyl sulfoxide (1), 4-(2,3diamo-5,hydroxydiphenylacetic acid) and its methyl ester (2), together with a known bromphenol, 3-bromo-(5,5)-hydroxy4-methylbenzoic acid (9), were isolated from the red alga Rhodomela confervoides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antiviral glycosidic bisindole alkaloids from the roots of Isatis indigotica.

TL;DR: Seven new glycosidic bisindole alkaloids, isatindigobisindolosides A–G (1–7), were isolated from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots and showed antiviral activity against both the influenza virus A/Hanfang/359/95 (H3N2) and Coxsackie virus B3 with IC50 values of 8.4–100.0 μM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iridoid glucosides from phlomis rotata

TL;DR: Two new iridoid glucosides, dehydropentstemoside and 7-epiphlomiol have been isolated from the aerial parts of Phlomis rotata and their structures elucidated by means of chemical and spectral methods.
