2D Covalent Organic Frameworks as Intrinsic Photocatalysts for Visible Light-Driven CO2 Reduction
Sizhuo Yang,Wenhui Hu,Xin Zhang,Peilei He,Brian Pattengale,Cunming Liu,Melissa C. Cendejas,Ive Hermans,Xiaoyi Zhang,Jian Zhang,Jian Zhang,Jier Huang +11 more
TL;DR: A newly designed 2D COF with incorporated Re complex, which exhibits intrinsic light absorption and charge separation properties and can efficiently reduce CO2 to form CO under visible light illumination with high electivity and better activity than its homogeneous Re counterpart.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical capacitance of well-coated single-walled carbon nanotube with polyaniline composites
TL;DR: In this article, a well-coated single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) with polyaniline (PANI) composite electrodes with good uniformity for electrochemical capacitors are prepared by the polymerization of aniline containing well-dissolved SWNTs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Well-dispersed single-walled carbon nanotube/polyaniline composite films
TL;DR: In this paper, single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT)/polyaniline (PANI) composite films with good uniformity and dispersion were prepared by electrochemical polymerization of aniline containing well-dissolved SWNTs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Atomically engineering activation sites onto metallic 1T-MoS 2 catalysts for enhanced electrochemical hydrogen evolution.
Yi-Chao Huang,Yuanhui Sun,Xueli Zheng,Toshihiro Aoki,Brian Pattengale,Jier Huang,Xin He,Wei Bian,Sabrina Younan,Nicholas Williams,Jun Hu,Jingxuan Ge,Ning Pu,Xingxu Yan,Xiaoqing Pan,Lijun Zhang,Yongge Wei,Jing Gu +17 more
TL;DR: This research will expand on the ability to improve the activities of various catalysts by precisely engineering atomic activation sites to achieve significant electronic modulations and improve atomic utilization efficiencies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photodriven charge separation dynamics in CdSe/ZnS core/shell quantum dot/cobaloxime hybrid for efficient hydrogen production.
TL;DR: The results suggest that QD/cobaloxime hybrids succeed in coupling single-photon events with multielectron redox catalytic reactions, and such systems could have potential applications in long-lived artificial photosynthetic devices for fuel generation from sunlight.
