Novel η2-ring edge coordination in the triphosphaferrocene complex [Fe(η5-C5H5)(η5-P3C2tBu2)Rh(η5-C5Me5)CO]

TL;DR: In this article, single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies on the triphosphaferrocene complex reveal an unusual η 2 -ring edge coordination mode in the latter resulting in a significant elongation of the trphosphacyclopentadienyl ring P-P bond.
Journal ArticleDOI

First syntheses, structural and theoretical studies ofη5-1,2,4-triphosphole metal tricarbonyl complexes of Cr, Moand W

TL;DR: In this article, the first syntheses, structural and theoretical studies of a 1,2,4-triphosphole metal tricarbonyl complexes were presented, which exhibits some aromatic character.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electronic structure of [M(η-P3C2But2)(CO)3] (M = Mn or Re): a study by photoelectron spectroscopy and density functional calculations

TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic structure of the compounds [Mn(η5-P3C2But2)(CO)3] (Mn 1 or Re 2) is investigated by means of density functional calculations and reasonable agreement between experimental and calculated ionisation energies is achieved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design of systems with extended metal-metal interactions: syntheses of mono- and di-nuclear rhodium(I) and iridium(I) complexes containing dienes, carbon monoxide, bipyridyl and the urea derivative OC(NMePF2)2

TL;DR: In this article, the deep purple-red [RhCl(CO)(bipy)], black [IrCl( CO), and blue-black [Ir(CO) 2 ] CH 2 Cl 2 2 (C 2 O 4 )] complexes were reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hexaphosphaferrocene [Fe(η5-P3C2tBu2)2] as a Connecting Moiety in Oligomeric and Polymeric Compounds

TL;DR: The hexaphosphaferrocene complex [Fe(η5-P3C2tBu2)2] derived from the corresponding 1,2,4-triphospholyl anion reacts with CuX (X = Cl, Br, I) in a 1 : 1 stoichiometry to give the isostructural, one-dimensional polymeric compounds [{Cu(μ3-X)}4{Fe(μ,η 5:η1-P 3C 2tBu 2 )2]n as mentioned in this paper.
