TL;DR: The data indicate that H1 proteins are normally required to sequester early developmental genes into architecturally inaccessible genomic compartments and establish H1 as a bona fide tumour suppressor, and mutations in H1 drive malignant transformation primarily through three-dimensional genome reorganization, which leads to epigenetic reprogramming and derepression of developmentally silenced genes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Histone 1 Mutations Drive Lymphomagenesis By Inducing Primitive Stem Cell Functions and Epigenetic Instructions through Profound 3D Re-Organization of the B-Cell Genome

TL;DR: This research presents a novel probabilistic approach called “cell reprograming” that quantifies the importance of knowing the carrier and removal of “ghost cells” from the immune system during treatment with chemotherapy.
