Journal ArticleDOI

The size and albedo of Rosetta fly-by target 21 Lutetia from new IRTF measurements and thermal modeling

TL;DR: In this article, the M-type asteroid 21 Lutetia has a primitive, carbonaceous-chondrite-like (C-type) surface composition for which a low geometric albedo would be expected; this is incompatible with the IRAS albedos of 0.221+/- 0.020.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deep mid-infrared observations of lyman break galaxies

TL;DR: The results of the model fitting show that previous optical/near-infrared studies of LBGs were not missing large, hidden old stellar populations as mentioned in this paper, and the LBG candidates' properties are consistent with those of massive star-forming galaxies at z ~ 3.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spitzer 24 um Images of Planetary Nebulae

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the Spitzer MIPS 24 um images for 36 Galactic planetary nebulae (PNe) whose central stars are hot white dwarfs (WDs) or pre-WDs with effective temperatures of ~100,000 K or higher.
