Infectious complications of CD19-targeted chimeric antigen receptor–modified T-cell immunotherapy

TL;DR: Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) severity was the only factor after CAR-T-cell infusion associated with infection in a multivariable analysis and the incidence of infections was comparable to observations from clinical trials of salvage chemoimmunotherapies in similar patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Late Events after Treatment with CD19-Targeted Chimeric Antigen Receptor Modified T Cells

TL;DR: Most of the late events observed in this cohort were not severe and many could be related to prior or subsequent therapies, suggesting a safe long-term profile of CD19-targeted CAR-T cell immunotherapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cord-Blood Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Confers an Increased Risk for Human Herpesvirus-6-Associated Acute Limbic Encephalitis: A Cohort Analysis

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed 1344 patients undergoing allogeneic HSCT between 2003 and 2010 to identify risk factors and characteristics of acute limbic encephalitis (HHV-6-PALE) after unrelated cord-blood transplantation.
