Nitrate anion reduction in aqueous perchloric acid as an electrochemical probe of Pt{1 1 0}-(1 × 1) terrace sites
TL;DR: In this article, the electrochemical reduction of nitrate anions in aqueous 0.1 mM perchloric acid has been studied using Pt(S)-[n{1.1.0.0] single crystal electrodes and showed that the presence of adsorption sites is associated with a single broad nitrate reduction peak centred at 0.18 V (RHE).

TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption behavior of citrate on gold under the synthesis conditions is investigated from electrochemical experiments on well-defined surfaces, and it is concluded that solvated citrate can become simultaneously adsorbed through three dehydrogenated carboxylic groups in bidentate configuration on Au(111), but only through two on Au (100) and Au(110).

A voltammetric study of glyoxylic acid behaviour on platinum single-crystal electrodes in sulphuric acid medium
TL;DR: In this paper, the electrochemical behavior of glyoxylic acid has been studied by linear sweep voltammetry in acidic solutions, and two kinds of stable residues can be distinguished: CO-like species, and species which probably maintain the CC bond intact.
