A novel adipokine CTRP1 stimulates aldosterone production

TL;DR: It was revealed that angiotensin II‐induced aldosterone production is, at least in part, mediated by the stimulation of CTRp1 secretion, not by the increase of CTRP1 mRNA transcription.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tumor Suppressor VDUP1 Increases p27kip1 Stability by Inhibiting JAB1

TL;DR: It is found that VDUP1-/- fibroblast cells proliferated more rapidly compared with wild-type cells with reduced expression of p27(kip1), a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, and results indicate that V DUP1 is a novel factor of p 27( kip1) stability via regulating JAB1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly sensitive detection of high-risk bacterial pathogens using SERS-based lateral flow assay strips

TL;DR: In this paper, a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based LFA strip was developed for sensitive detection of bacterial pathogens such as Yersinia pestis, Francisella tularensis, and Bacillus anthracis.
