Journal ArticleDOI
VDUP1 upregulated by TGF-β1 and 1,25-dihydorxyvitamin D3 inhibits tumor cell growth by blocking cell-cycle progression
Seung Hyun Han,Jun Ho Jeon,Hyang Ran Ju,Uhee Jung,Kun Young Kim,Hyang Sook Yoo,Young Ho Lee,Kyu Sang Song,Ho Myeung Hwang,Yoon Sook Na,Young Yang,Kee Nyung Lee,Inpyo Choi +12 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that VDUP1 is a novel antitumor gene which forms a transcriptional repressor complex which possesses a tumor-suppressive activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel adipokine CTRP1 stimulates aldosterone production
Jun Ho Jeon,Kun-yong Kim,Jae Hyeong Kim,Ahmi Baek,Hyungin Cho,Young Ho Lee,Jong-Wan Kim,Do-Hee Kim,Seung Hyun Han,Jong-Seok Lim,Keun Il Kim,Do Young Yoon,Soo Hyun Kim,Goo Taeg Oh,Eunjoon Kim,Young Yang +15 more
TL;DR: It was revealed that angiotensin II‐induced aldosterone production is, at least in part, mediated by the stimulation of CTRp1 secretion, not by the increase of CTRP1 mRNA transcription.
Journal ArticleDOI
VDUP1 is required for the development of natural killer cells.
Kee Nyung Lee,Hyung-Sik Kang,Jun Ho Jeon,Eun-Mi Kim,Suk-Ran Yoon,Hyunkeun Song,Chil-Youl Lyu,Zheng-Hao Piao,Sun-Uk Kim,Ying-Hao Han,Su-Sung Song,Young-Ho Lee,Kyu-Sang Song,Yong-Man Kim,Dae-Yeul Yu,Inpyo Choi +15 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that VDUP1 is a critical factor for the development and function of NK cells in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tumor Suppressor VDUP1 Increases p27kip1 Stability by Inhibiting JAB1
TL;DR: It is found that VDUP1-/- fibroblast cells proliferated more rapidly compared with wild-type cells with reduced expression of p27(kip1), a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, and results indicate that V DUP1 is a novel factor of p 27( kip1) stability via regulating JAB1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly sensitive detection of high-risk bacterial pathogens using SERS-based lateral flow assay strips
Rui Wang,Ki-Hyun Kim,Namhyun Choi,Xiaokun Wang,Ji Young Lee,Jun Ho Jeon,Gi-eun Rhie,Jaebum Choo +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based LFA strip was developed for sensitive detection of bacterial pathogens such as Yersinia pestis, Francisella tularensis, and Bacillus anthracis.
