Journal ArticleDOI
Validation of published nomograms and accordingly individualized induction chemotherapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma
TL;DR: Tang's nomogram helps to stratify stage III-IVa-b NPC, and IC is beneficial to high-risk patients in clinical practice.
Journal ArticleDOI
Smart thin-film piezoelectric composite sensors based on high lead zirconate titanate content
Nasser Saber,Qingshi Meng,Hung-Yao Hsu,Sang-Heon Lee,Hsu-Chiang Kuan,Donavan Marney,Nobuyuki Kawashima,Jun Ma +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed to incorporate high-fraction ceramic particles into piezoelectric composites, a hybrid material consisting of polymer matrices and micro-sized particles of ferroelectric ceramic.
Journal Article
Degradation of nitrobenzene in aqueous solution by ozone-ceramic honeycomb.
TL;DR: The effects of various factors on the catalytic oxidation were investigated, such as the amount of catalysts, the ozone dosage, the temperature, the pH value and the presence of tert-butanol, which appeared to support that, the degradation of nitrobenzene by ozonation followed a radical type mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Gene-Expression Predictor for Efficacy of Induction Chemotherapy in Locoregionally Advanced Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
Yuan Lei,Ying-Qin Li,Wei Jiang,Xiao-Hong Hong,Wen-Xiu Ge,Yuan Zhang,Wei-Han Hu,Ya-Qin Wang,Ye-Lin Liang,Jun-Yan Li,William C. Cho,Jingping Yun,Jing Zeng,Jiewei Chen,Lizhi Liu,Li Li,Lei Chen,Fang-Yun Xie,Wen-Fei Li,Yan Ping Mao,Xu Liu,Yu Pei Chen,Ling-Long Tang,Ying Sun,Na Liu,Jun Ma +25 more
TL;DR: The 6-gene signature developed can help select beneficiaries of IC and lay a foundation for a more individualized therapeutic strategy for locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
The performance and microbial communities of biodegradation-electron transfer with sulfur metabolism integrated process for flue gas desulfurization wastewater treatment
TL;DR: The biodegradation-electron transfer with sulfur metabolism integrated (BESI®) process was used for the treatment of real flue gas desulfurization wastewater and the performance of the integrated process was evaluated by the removal efficiencies of organics and nitrogen pollutants.
