Journal ArticleDOI

MRI-detected skull-base invasion: prognostic value and therapeutic implication in intensity-modulated radiotherapy treatment for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

TL;DR: In this paper, a classification of skull-base invasion in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients treated with intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

The bromate formation accompanied by the degradation of 2,4-bromophenol in UV/peroxymonosulfate

TL;DR: In this article, the degradation kinetics of 2,4-bromophenol and the fate of bromine affected by different water matrix (i.e., dissolved organic matter, chloride ions, and solution pH) were explored.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cigarette smoking complements the prognostic value of baseline plasma Epstein-Barr virus deoxyribonucleic acid in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma undergoing intensity-modulated radiation therapy: a large-scale retrospective cohort study.

TL;DR: Both cigarette smoking and baseline plasma EBV DNA were independent prognostic factors for survival outcomes and led to the refinement of the risks stratification for patient subsets, especially with improved risk discrimination in patients with high baseline plasmaEBV DNA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Delayed clinical complete response to intensity-modulated radiotherapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma

TL;DR: Nearly half of the patients with partial response at 3-4 months achieve cCR by 6-9 months; delayed cCR is not a poor prognosticator, and later assessment of cCR at 6- 9 months after IMRT is acceptable in responding NPC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on the physicochemical properties of poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) modified Pd/Fe nanocomposites: Roles of PMMA and PMMA/ethanol

TL;DR: In this article, the role of poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) and PMMA/ethanol in controlling physicochemical properties of Pd/Fe nanoparticles (NPs) was investigated.
