Journal ArticleDOI

Fall, recovery, and characterization of the Novato L6 chondrite breccia

TL;DR: Novato L6 chondrite fragmental breccia fell in California on 17 October 2012, and was recovered after the Cameras for Allsky Meteor Surveillance (CAMS) project determined the meteor's trajectory between 95 and 45 km altitude as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Park Forest (L5) and the asteroidal source of shocked L chondrites

TL;DR: The Park Forest (L5) meteorite as mentioned in this paper was one of the 25 meteorites for which photographic documentation of the fireball enabled the reconstruction of the meteoroid orbit and the combination of orbits with pre-atmospheric sizes, cosmic-ray exposure (CRE), and radiogenic gas retention ages (“cosmic histories”) is significant because they can be used to constrain the meteoroids's "birth region,” and test models of meteoroid delivery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Calibration of cosmogenic noble gas production based on 36Cl-36Ar ages. Part 2. The 81Kr-Kr dating technique

TL;DR: In this paper, the average cosmogenic ⁸¹Kr-Kr dating system for ordinary chondrites of different sizes using independent shielding-corrected ³⁶Cl-³³-Ar ages was calibrated.
