Journal ArticleDOI
Greater effects of high- compared with moderate-intensity interval training on cardio-metabolic variables, blood leptin concentration and ratings of perceived exertion in obese adolescent females.
Ghazi Racil,Jeremy Coquart,Wassim Elmontassar,Monoem Haddad,Ruben Goebel,Anis Chaouachi,Mohamed Amri,Karim Chamari +7 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that high-intensity interval training may produce more positive effects on health determinants in comparison with the same training mode at a moderate intensity.

Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of 8-week in-season upper and lower limb heavy resistance training on the peak power, throwing velocity, and sprint performance of elite male handball players.
TL;DR: It is concluded that in-season biweekly heavy back half-squat, pull-over, and bench-press exercises can be commended to elite male handball players as improving many measures of handball-related performance without adverse effects upon speed of movement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anis Chaouachi,Aaron J. Coutts,Karim Chamari,Del P. Wong,M Chaouachi,Moktar Chtara,Rachida RokyR. Roky,Mohamed Amri +7 more
