Journal ArticleDOI

Abatement of organics and Escherichia coli by N, S co-doped TiO2 under UV and visible light. Implications of the formation of singlet oxygen (1O2) under visible light

TL;DR: In this paper, N, S co-doped TiO 2 nanoparticles of anatase TKP 102 (Tayca) were obtained by grinding it with thiourea and calcinating at 400°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, Characterization, and Photocatalytic Activities of Nanoparticulate N, S-Codoped TiO2 Having Different Surface-to-Volume Ratios

TL;DR: An efficient, visible light active, N, S-codopedTiO2-based photocatalyst was prepared by reacting thiourea with nanoparticulate anatase TiO2 and revealed a markedly lower efficiency in Escherichia coli inactivation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pedicle Screw Insertion Accuracy Using O-Arm, Robotic Guidance, or Freehand Technique: A Comparative Study.

TL;DR: The advent of new technologies does not appear to alter accuracy of screw placement in this setting, and the lack of difference in accuracy does not imply that the above-mentioned techniques have no added advantages.
Journal ArticleDOI

Longitudinal neurometabolic changes in the hippocampus of a rat model of chronic hepatic encephalopathy.

TL;DR: Early, previously unreported neurometabolic changes occurred already 2 to 4 weeks post bile duct ligation, namely an increase in plasma ammonium and brain glutamine, a decrease in brain creatine and ascorbate together with behavioural and astrocyte morphology changes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Atom-transfer radical addition reactions catalyzed by RuCp* complexes: a mechanistic study.

TL;DR: The results show that for substrates with high intrinsic reactivity, such as ethyl trichloroacetate, the oxidation state of the catalyst in the resting state is +3, and that the reaction is zero-order with respect to the halogenated compound.
