Robust seed model training for speaker adaptation using pseudo-speaker features generated by inverse CMLLR transformation

TL;DR: A novel acoustic model training method which is suitable for speaker adaptation in speech recognition, based on feature generation from a small amount of speakers' data, and obtained better speaker adaptation results than using simply environmentally adapted models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Idea paper: Extended benefits of pollinator‐mediated microbial dispersal among flowers

- 26 May 2022 -
TL;DR: In this article , the authors present visitor-mediated microbial dispersal as a potential benefit of receiving flower visitors and test this hypothesis by comparing microbial communities and the performance of seeds from experimentally visitor-excluded flowers and naturally animal-visited control flowers.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Relationship between speaker/listener similarity and information transmission quality in speech communication

TL;DR: The correlation between similarity in speaker characteristics and information transmission quality using a map task dialogue corpus and a linear regression prediction model is investigated.
