Journal ArticleDOI
HLA-identical marrow transplantation during accelerated-phase chronic myelogenous leukemia: analysis of survival and remission duration.
P.J. Martin,Reginald A. Clift,LD Fisher,Buckner Cd,John A. Hansen,FR Appelbaum,Kristine Doney,Keith M. Sullivan,Robert P. Witherspoon,Rainer Storb +9 more
TL;DR: The strikingly increased relapse rate associated with the use of T-cell depletion would discourage its use for graft-v-host disease prevention in patients who receive transplants for CML.
Journal ArticleDOI
Allogeneic marrow transplantation for acute non-lymphoblastic leukemia in relapse using fractionated total body irradiation
C. Dean Buckner,Reginald A. Clift,E. Donnall Thomas,Jean E. Sanders,Patricia S. Stewart,Rainer Storb,Keith M. Sullivan,Robert C. Hackman +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, 12 patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in second to fourth remission received allogeneic marrow transplants following preparation with cyclophosphamide, 120 mg/kg and 1400 rad of fractionated total body irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Double-Blind Randomized Trial Comparing Outpatient Parenteral Nutrition With Intravenous Hydration: Effect on Resumption of Oral Intake After Marrow Transplantation
Paula M. Charuhas,Karin L. Fosberg,Barbara Bruemmer,Saundra N. Aker,Wendy M. Leisenring,Kristy Seidel,Keith M. Sullivan +6 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that outpatient PN delays resumption of oral intake and that its replacement with hydration solution does not result in adverse patient outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gastric antral vascular ectasia and its clinical correlates in patients with early diffuse systemic sclerosis in the SCOT trial
Emily W. Hung,Maureen D. Mayes,Roozbeh Sharif,Shervin Assassi,Victor I. Machicao,Chitra Hosing,E. William St. Clair,Daniel E. Furst,Dinesh Khanna,Stephen J. Forman,Shin Mineishi,Kristine Phillips,James R. Seibold,Christopher Bredeson,Mary Ellen Csuka,Richard A. Nash,Mark H. Wener,Robert W. Simms,Karen K. Ballen,Sharon LeClercq,Jan Storek,Ellen Goldmuntz,Beverly Welch,Lynette Keyes-Elstein,Sharon Castina,Leslie J. Crofford,Peter A. McSweeney,Keith M. Sullivan +27 more
TL;DR: Endoscopic GAVE was present on screening in almost one-fourth of patients with early and severe diffuse SSc, and patients with GAVE had a higher frequency of other gastric vascular ectasias outside the antrum, suggesting that GAVE may represent part of the spectrum of the vasculopathy in SSc.
Journal ArticleDOI
Allogeneic Marrow Transplantation in the Treatment of MOPP-Resistant Hodgkin's Disease
F R Appelbaum,Keith M. Sullivan,Thomas Ed,Buckner Cd,Clift Ra,Deeg Hj,Paul E. Neiman,Jean E. Sanders,P Stewart,R Storb +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that some patients with MOPP-resistant Hodgkin's disease can obtain prolonged CR following intensive chemoradiotherapy and allogeneic marrow transplantation.
