Abstract 3374: Large-scale single-cell whole transcriptomic analyses reveal distinct malignant phenotypes of CTCs from NSCLC patients
Lisa M. Rieckmann,Michael A. Spohn,Ekaterina Selbuz,Claudia Schubert,David Agorku,Lisa Becker,Alina Borchers,Jenny Krause,Lisa A. Ruff,Sarina Heinemann,Franca Kobus,J.C. Hille,Andia Louisa Tehrany,Janna-Lisa Velthaus-Rusik,Sören Franzenburg,Petros Christopoulos,Hauke Winter,Mike Thomas,Sabine Riethdorf,Nicola Gagliani,Carsten Bokemeyer,Christian Krebs,Martin R. Sprick,Andreas Trumpp,Sven Peine,Olaf Hardt,Nikolas H. Stoecklein,Klaus Pantel,Philip Rosenstiel,Sonja Loges,Melanie Janning +30 more
TL;DR: Performing CTC enrichment using DLAs resulted in generation of an unprecedented number of transcriptomes from individual CTCs derived from NSCLC patients, which should lead to a better understanding of the heterogeneity of blood circulating C TCs and their associated biology and may allow rational design of CTC-targeting drugs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Circulating Tumor Cells, Heterogeneous PSMA Expression, and Response to PSMA-Targeted Radioligand Therapy in Advanced Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer
TL;DR: Ziel et al. as discussed by the authors investigated the relationship between prostatespecific membrane antigen (PSMA) expression on CTCs, in metastases, and histological specimens, and its significance for the outcome of PSMA-targeted radioligand therapy (RLT).
Journal ArticleDOI

Book ChapterDOI
Circulating and Disseminated Tumor Cells from Solid Tumors—Research and Clinical Aspects
TL;DR: The data on BM as common homing organ for disseminating tumor cells and clinical studies on disseminated tumor cells that help to establish CTC/DTC measurements in clinical practice are reviewed, and the biological characteristics of DTC and CTC are outlined.
