High‐Valence‐Manganese Driven Strong Anchoring of Iridium Species for Robust Acidic Water Oxidation

TL;DR: In this paper , it was reported that high-valence manganese drives the strong anchoring of the iridium (Ir)-atom array array on the Mn-O-Ir coordination structure via a hydrothermal-redox reaction.

Method for continuously preparing chitin/chitosan solutions with different deacetylation degrees

TL;DR: In this article, a method for continuously preparing chitin/chitosan solutions with different deacetylation degrees was proposed, where urea, thiourea,PEG and other stabilizers are added to the potassium hydroxide aqueous solution so as to easily increase the stability of the chitins/chitsan solution at a room temperature.

Properties of Cellulose Hydrogel from Kenaf Core Prepared via Pre-cooled Dissolving Method (Sifat Selulosa Hidrogel daripada Teras Kenaf Menggunakan Kaedah Pra-penyejukan)

TL;DR: In this paper, a hydrogel was produced from cellulose derived from kenaf core powder with weight average molecular weight of cellulose was 1.68 × 10 5 and was dissolved in NaOH/urea solvent at -13 o C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preanodized Cu Surface for Selective CO2 Electroreduction to C1 or C2+ Products.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors demonstrate an effective regulation of CO2 reduction paths through a preanodization treatment of Cu foil electrodes in different electrolytes, and show that the Cu electrode exhibits a superior C1 and C2+ product selectivity after being pre-anodized in NaClO4 and Na2HPO4 electrolyte, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Insight into Morphology Change of Chitin Microspheres using Tertiary Butyl Alcohol/H 2 O Binary System Freeze-Drying Method

TL;DR: This study finds that by freeze drying the CMs with 20 and 100 wt% TBA, a fine nanofiber weaved pore structure can be obtained, which helps in the characterization of porous PS-based microspheres.
