STRUCTURE, MOLECULAR WEIGHT AND BIOACTIVITIES OF (1→3)-β-D-GLUCANS AND ITS SULFATED DERIVATIVES FROM FOUR KINDS OF LENTINUS EDODES

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of structure and conformation of the polysaccharides on antitumor activities were assayed in vivo (Sarcoma 180 solid tumors) and in vitro (Sara 180, HL-60, MCF-7 and Vero tumors) using infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, 13C-NMR, size exclusion chromatography combined with laser light scattering (SEC-LLS) and viscometry.

Use of aqueous NaOH/thiourea solution in pilot-scale production of cellulose products

TL;DR: In this paper, the use of an aqueous sodium hydroxide/thiourea solution for pilot-scale production of cellulose products was discussed, where the authors used a mixture of the two solvents to produce regenerated cellulose filaments, films and nonwovens.

Method for preparing nanofiber composite membrane for fixing lysozyme-rectorie

TL;DR: In this article, a modified nanofiber composite membrane for fixing enzyme-phyllosilicate by using an electric injection method was presented, which can be used as an antimicrobial material and is widely used in fields of agriculture, sanitation, food, bio-medical materials and the like.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pcsk9 Knockout Aggravated Experimental Apical Periodontitis via LDLR.

TL;DR: In this article, the role of PCSK9 in AP was investigated by using Pcsk9-/- mice, and the results showed that the periapical bone loss of these mice was greater than that of wild-type (WT) mice and increased expression of inflammatory related factors tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) and interleukin (IL)-6 was also observed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of the thermal history and concentration on the aggregation of Erwinia gum in an aqueous solution

TL;DR: In this article, the aggregation of Erwinia (E) gum in a 0.2 M NaCl aqueous solution was investigated by multi-angle laser light scattering and gel permeation chromatography combined with light scattering.
