Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication of Hollow Materials by Fast Pyrolysis of Cellulose Composite Fibers with Heterogeneous Structures
TL;DR: A facile method for the fabrication of inorganic hollow materials from cuprammonium cellulose composite filaments based on fast pyrolysis has been developed and these hollow structural materials have great potential for use in various fields.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure and properties of cellulose films coated with polyurethane/benzyl starch semi-IPN coating
Xiaodong Cao,Rui Deng,Lina Zhang +2 more
TL;DR: A series of water-resistant cellulose films was prepared by coating castor oil based polyurethane (PU)/benzyl starch (BS) semi-interpenetrating polymer networks (semi-IPN).
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemical structures of water-soluble polysaccharides from Rhizoma Panacis Japonici.
Zhiping Huang,Lina Zhang +1 more
TL;DR: Five polysaccharide samples were isolated stepwise from Rhizoma Panacis Japonici by using 0.15M NaCl aqueous solution, and their solubility decreased from RPS1 to RPS5.
Journal ArticleDOI
Water solubility of regioselectively 2,3-O-substituted carboxymethylcellulose
TL;DR: A series of 2,3-O-carboxymethylcelluloses (CMC's) which are regioselectively substituted at the C-2 and C-3 position were prepared and their water solubility was examined.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solution properties of an α-(1→3)-d-glucan from Lentinus edodes and its sulfated derivatives
TL;DR: In this article, a water-insoluble alpha-(1-->3)-D-glucan (A) from Lentinus edodes was fractionated into 13 fractions in dimethyl sulfoxide containing 0.25 M LiCl-Me(2)SO, and its sulfated derivative in 0.5 M NaCl aqueous has stiffer chains than the original.
