Exploration of the high-redshift universe enabled by THESEUS

TL;DR: TheseUS as mentioned in this paper is designed to detect large samples of gamma-ray bursts at z > 6 in the 2030s, at a time when supporting observations with major next generation facilities will be possible, thus enabling a range of transformative science.
Journal ArticleDOI

X-Shooting EF Eridani: further evidence for a massive white dwarf and a sub-stellar secondary

TL;DR: In this paper, high-resolution spectral observations of the polar EF Eridani obtained in a low state with X-Shooter revealed narrow emission lines from the irradiated secondary, most prominent in the near IR Ca2-triplet, the more intensive Halpha line had additional emission likely originating from an accretion stream.
Journal ArticleDOI

In vivo demonstration of cytoplasmic fibronectin in human breast carcinomas.

TL;DR: The results support the findings of several in vitro investigations that breast tumour cells synthesize fibronectin and suggest that cytoplasmic fibronECTin expression might be an indicator of tissue differentiation in non-solidly growing invasive duct carcinomas of the human mammary gland.
