A comparison between the erosion behaviour of thermal spray and electron beam physical vapour deposition thermal barrier coatings

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the erosion behaviour of thermally sprayed and electron beam physical vapour deposited (EB-PVD) TBCs at particle velocities up to 300 m/s at test temperature up to 920°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of TBC morphology and aging on the erosion rate of EB-PVD TBCs

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effects of column diameter, column inclination angle, and the effect of aging and sintering on the erosion rates of EB-PVD TBCs and found that column diameter decreases with a decrease in the column diameter while aging results in an increase in the erosion rate, depending on the aging temperature and time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erosion of thermal barrier coatings

TL;DR: In this article, the erosion behaviour of both thermally sprayed and electron beam physical vapour deposition (EB-PVD) TBCs relating the observed behaviour to the co...

Rehabilitation versus surgical reconstruction for non-acute anterior cruciate ligament injury (ACL SNNAP): a pragmatic randomised controlled trial

David J Beard, +339 more
- 01 Aug 2022 -
TL;DR: Surgical reconstruction as a management strategy for patients with non-acute ACL injury with persistent symptoms of instability was clinically superior and more cost-effective in comparison with rehabilitation management.
