Demonstration of the X-ray imaging capabilities of the newly installed multilayer monochromator at SPring-8 BL20B2

TL;DR: Double multilayer monochromators (DMMs) for 40 keV and 110 keV have been installed at BL20B2 in SPring-8 as mentioned in this paper , which enables high-speed X-ray imaging with a large field-of-view and high spatial resolution in those high-energy X-rays.

Ultrafast Control of Crystal Structure in a Topological Charge-Density-Wave Material

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used X-ray free-electron laser measurements to study the ultrafast lattice dynamics of VTe$_2$, which shows a unique charge-density-wave (CDW) ordering coupled to the topological surface states as a first-order phase transition.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Development of a Scanning X‐ray Fluorescence Microscope Using Size‐Controllable Focused X‐ray Beam from 50 to 1500nm

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a focusing optical system using K-B mirrors where the focused beam size is controllable within the range of 50 − 1500 nm, where the beam intensity and beam intensity can be adjusted by changing the source size.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synchronization of FEL and high-order harmonics of ultrashort-pulsed laser for generating intense full-coherent EUV light pulses

TL;DR: Seeding of free-electron laser by the 13th harmonic of ultrashort-pulsed 800 nm laser light was achieved using a synchronization technique of a spectral decoded EO-sampling, and intense full-coherent light pulses in the extreme ultraviolet wavelength region were generated as mentioned in this paper.
