Charge Trapping Process in Photoexcited Nitrogen-Doped Titanium Oxides.
Kosuke Sato,Ken-ichi Yamanaka,Shunsuke Nozawa,Hironobu Fukuzawa,Tetsuo Katayama,Takeshi Morikawa,Takamasa Nonaka,Kazuhiko Dohmae,Kiyoshi Ueda,Makina Yabashi,Ryoji Asahi +10 more
TL;DR: A first-principles study on the structural changes induced by charge trapping that occurs after photoexcitation in nitrogen-doped titanium oxide (N-TiO2) indicated that charge trapping occurs in the neighborhood of the oxygen vacancy (O-vac) sites.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Thin crystal development and applications for hard x-ray free-electron lasers
Taito Osaka,Makina Yabashi,Yasuhisa Sano,Kensuke Tono,Yuichi Inubushi,Takahiro Sato,Kanade Ogawa,Satoshi Matsuyama,Tetsuya Ishikawa,Kazuto Yamauchi +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new method was developed to fabricate ultrathin silicon single crystals, which can be used as spectral beam======splitters for the hard x-ray regime, based on a reactive dry etching process using plasma at atmospheric pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transport channels of X-ray beamlines at SPring-8
Shunji Goto,Haruhiko Ohashi,Kunikazu Takeshita,Makina Yabashi,M. Yamakata,Yoshihiro Asano,T. Ishikawa +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors constructed various X-ray beamline transport channels using standard components and newly developed components to cope with the various light sources and optics, such as high resolution inelastic beamline, medium-length beamlines ranging 100-200m, and 1-km-long beamline.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of photoinduced normal state through charge density wave in superconducting YBa2Cu3O6.67
Ho Won Jang,Sanghoon Song,Takumi Kihara,Yijin Liu,Sangjun Lee,SangYoun Park,Minseok Kim,Hyeong-Do Kim,Giacomo Coslovich,S. Nakata,Yuya Kubota,Ichiro Inoue,Kenji Tamasaku,Makina Yabashi,Heemin Lee,Chang Keun Song,Hiroyuki Nojiri,Bernhard Keimer,Chi-Chang Kao,Jun Sik Lee +19 more
TL;DR: In this article , a photo-induced normal state of YBa2Cu3O6.67 through a charge density wave (CDW) with time-resolved resonant soft x-ray scattering, as well as a high magnetic field xray scattering was explored.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hard X-ray photoemission spectroscopy of pyrochlore molybdenum oxides R2Mo2O7 (R = Sm, Tb)
Masahiro Sawada,Akio Kimura,Kiyotaka Miyoshi,Jun Takeuchi,Masashi Arita,Kenya Shimada,Hirofumi Namatame,Masaki Taniguchi,Tetsuya Ishikawa,Kenji Tamasaku,Yoshinori Nishino,Daigo Miwa,Y. Takata,Shik Shin,K. Kobayashi,Eiji Ikenaga,Makina Yabashi,Mitsuhiro Awaji,A. Takeuchi +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors carried out hard X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (HXPES) for pyrochlore molybdenum oxides Sm 2 Mo 2 O 7 and Tb 2 Mo O 7 single crystals with excitation energy of 5.95 keV.
