A global survey of mycobacterial diversity in soil

TL;DR: In this paper, the diversity, distributions and environmental preferences of soil-dwelling mycobacteria in 143 soil samples collected from across the globe were analyzed using 16S rRNA marker gene sequencing and hsp65 gene sequencing.
Posted ContentDOI

Ecological niche differentiation in soil cyanobacterial communities across the globe

TL;DR: A global field survey covering a wide range of vegetation types and climatic conditions was conducted to identify the environmental factors associated with the distribution of soil cyanobacterial communities and constructed the first global atlas of cyanobacteria, an important advance in the understanding of the ecology and biogeography of these functionally important organisms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Author Correction: Crop microbiome and sustainable agriculture.

TL;DR: An amendment to this paper has been published and can be accessed via a link at the top of the paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ecological clusters of soil taxa within bipartite networks are highly sensitive to climatic conditions in global drylands

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used a global survey including 80 dryland ecosystems from six continents, and found that the relative abundance of ecological clusters formed by taxa involved in bacteria-fungi and bacteria-cercozoa bipartite networks was highly sensitive to changes in temperature and aridity.
