Marco Lucchi,Alfredo Mussi,Fulvio Basolo,Marcello Carlo Ambrogi,Gabriella Fontanini,Carlo Alberto Angeletti +5 more
TL;DR: A pre-operative shrinkage of the thymic carcinoma by means of neoadjuvant multi-drug chemotherapy may improve the resectability, and therefore, the survival rate, and merits additional study in a multicenter trial with a sufficient number of patients to draw definitive conclusions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic significance of osteopontin expression in early-stage non-small-cell lung cancer.
Laura Boldrini,Donati,Matteo Dell'Omodarme,Maria Cristina Prati,Pinuccia Faviana,Tiziano Camacci,Marco Lucchi,Alfredo Mussi,Massimo Santoro,Fulvio Basolo,Gabriella Fontanini +10 more
TL;DR: The hypothesis that high OPN expression is a significantly unfavourable prognostic factor for the survival of patients with stage I NSCLC is supported and has notable importance in terms of the biological characterization of early-stage tumours and therapeutic opportunities.
Journal ArticleDOI
