Journal ArticleDOI

Multimodality imaging in the evaluation of left ventricle myocardial deformation determined by edema and scar in acute myocarditis

TL;DR: Investigation of the diagnostic value of two-dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) feature tracking (FT) in detecting edema and myocardial scar in acute myocarditis found good correlation was found between CMR-FT and 2D STE in the evaluation of GLS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dual antiplatelet therapy for 1 versus 3 months in high bleeding risk patients with or without oral anticoagulant therapy after coronary stenting

TL;DR: Among HBR patients undergoing everolimus-eluting stent implantation, 1-month DAPT compared with 3-monthDAPT was associated with similar ischemic outcomes and reduced bleeding, regardless of concomitant oral anticoagulant therapy.
Book ChapterDOI

Competing risks in the duration of dual antiplatelet therapy—the case for shorter treatment

TL;DR: This chapter sought to highlight the clinical relevance of bleeding events in patients with coronary artery disease, discuss the current knowledge on bleeding risk evaluation, and critically appraise the evidence from randomized controlled trials evaluating the risks and benefits of short-term DAPT duration.
