Journal ArticleDOI

The structuralization phenomena in magnetic fluid composites and their influence on transmissivity of light

TL;DR: In this article, a magnetic field induced agglomeration of magnetic and µm-sized copper non-magnetic particles in magnetic fluid with several volume concentrations of magnetite and copper particles was studied by means of optical microscope equipped with video camera.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immobilization of a Neutral Protease in Magnetic Particles Using Direct Binding Procedure

TL;DR: The present experiment has immobilized Dispase, a neutral protease, and found that the protein was bound to the extend of 90% using the dye binding procedure, and measured the activity of this enzyme by its proteolytic property and showed that it retained 80% of its activity after immobilization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self-diffraction of the light in magnetic fluids

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the self-diffraction of two interfering beams in thin film samples of kerosene-based magnetic fluids and described the creation of a space periodic temperature distribution due to the interference field.
