Journal ArticleDOI

AMPK negatively regulates tensin-dependent integrin activity

TL;DR: It is shown that the loss of AMPK up-regulates tensins, which bind &bgr;1-integrins, supporting their activity and promoting fibrillar adhesion formation and integrin-dependent processes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Targeting β1-integrin inhibits vascular leakage in endotoxemia.

TL;DR: It is shown that antibodies against β1-integrin decrease LPS-induced vascular leakage in murine endotoxemia, as either a preventative or an intervention therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Strong Contractile Actin Fence and Large Adhesions Direct Human Pluripotent Colony Morphology and Adhesion.

TL;DR: In this article, the actin fence encircling the colony was found to exert extensive Rho-ROCK-myosin-dependent mechanical stress to enforce colony morphology, compaction, and pluripotency and to define mitotic spindle orientation.
Posted ContentDOI

ZeroCostDL4Mic: an open platform to simplify access and use of Deep-Learning in Microscopy

TL;DR: A platform simplifying access to DL by exploiting the free, cloud-based computational resources of Google Colab is presented, which allows researchers to train, evaluate, and apply key DL networks to perform tasks including segmentation, detection, denoising, restoration, resolution enhancement and image-to-image translation.
