Amelioration of fatigue in chronic dialysis patients with dialysis solution employing electrolyzed water containing molecular hydrogen (H2) and its association with autonomic function balance

TL;DR: In this article, a single-arm, prospective observational study examined 95 patients on chronic hemodialysis (HD) patients, who were classified into three groups according to the presence of subjective fatigue during the period of CHD: Group A (40.0%), fatigue only on HD days; Group B (11.6%), presence of fatigue on both HD and HD-free days; and Group C (48.4%), freedom from fatigue.
Journal ArticleDOI

Association between serum ferritin levels and clinical outcomes in maintenance hemodialysis patients: a retrospective single-center cohort study

TL;DR: In MHD patients, ferritin levels > 100 ng/mL is associated with increased rates of all-cause mortality and cardiovascular events and infection-related hospitalizations.

Evaluation method of dialysis membrane

TL;DR: In this paper, a method of evaluating and determining a dialysis membrane is proposed, which is conventionally indirectly carried out by measuring TACBUN (time averaged concentration of blood urea nitrogen), by detecting and quantitatively determining kidney failure substances including uremia substances, oxidative stress causing substances, substances accumulating in an autosomal dominant polycystic kidney.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three CAPD cases who maintained increased ultrafiltration volume by long-term and intermittent oral administration of low dose of tranexamic acid

TL;DR: Tranexamic acid: TA (tranexamicacid: TA) の投与によりCAPD患者の除水量が増加する現象が報告されているが, これを長期間投64した際のst水効果の影
Journal ArticleDOI

Role of nitric oxide in hypotension during hemodialysis.

TL;DR: This study examined the changes in BP and blood levels of NO metabolites during dialysis in patients with chronic glomerulonephritis as the underlying renal disease and the possible pathophysiological role of NO in dialysis-related hypotension.
