Ac susceptibility in (Nd, Eu, Gd)-Ba-Cu-O superconductors

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the complex ac susceptibility of the melt-processed (Nd, Eu, Gd)-Ba-Cu-O and Nd-Ba-cu-O.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scanning tunneling microscopy studies of high Jc NEG123 crystals

TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed ultrahigh vacuum scanning tunneling microscopy measurements at room temperature on Ba 2 Cu 3 O y (NEG123) crystals grown by an oxygen controlled melt growth process and observed modulation and island structures on a cleaved surface of the NEG123 with high J c and high irreversible field H irr higher than 10 T at 77 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of cation composition and oxygen nonstoichiometry on Jc-B properties of Nd123

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of cation composition and oxygen contents on flux pinning properties of Nd123 was investigated using single crystals grown by flux method, and the observed secondary peak effect in J c - B curves was largest for Nd-rich crystal ( x ~.1), and J c systematically increased with decreasing oxygen deficiency.
