Journal ArticleDOI
Collagen–GAG Scaffolds Grafted onto Myocardial Infarcts in a Rat Model: A Delivery Vehicle for Mesenchymal Stem Cells
TL;DR: DHT cross-linked collagen-GAG scaffolds warrant continued investigation as delivery vehicles for implantation of cells into infarcted cardiac tissue.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Epidemiology and Diagnosis of Invasive Candidiasis Among Premature Infants
TL;DR: Improved diagnostics are needed to guide the initiation of antifungal therapy in premature infants and to help identify fewer than half of cases.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In VLBW infants, postnatal CMV infection was associated with increased risk for BPD, and further studies are needed to determine the role of preventive measures against CMV in this population.
