Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrafine cobalt nanoparticle-embedded leaf-like hollow N-doped carbon as an enhanced catalyst for activating monopersulfate to degrade phenol.
Duong Dinh Tuan,Kun-Yi Andrew Lin,Wei-Jie Liu,Matthias Ripp,Eilhann E. Kwon,Bui Xuan Thanh,Venkata Subbaiah Munagapati,Jet-Chau Wen,Grzegorz Lisak,Chechia Hu,Kun-Yi Andrew Lin +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a hollow-structured carbon-based materials (HSCM) was developed by using a special type of ZIF (i.e., ZIF-L) as a precursor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of tetracycline by a photocatalytic membrane reactor with MIL-53(Fe)/PVDF mixed-matrix membrane
Antoine Venault,Matthias Ripp +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors demonstrate the synergistic effect of two-unit operations: filtration and photocatalysis to remove tetracycline (TC) from wastewater by immobilizing MIL-53(Fe) photocatalyst into the poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) matrix to create a mixed-matrix membrane (MMM) in a photocatalytic membrane reactor (PMR).
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and applications of carbon nitride (CN ) family with different carbon to nitrogen ratio
TL;DR: In this article , the synthesis and applications of the carbon nitride (CNx) family with not only the different carbon/nitrogen ratios but also different basic units and linkages (triazine, triazole, and azo-linkage) were highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Synergistic effect of KCl mixing and melamine/urea mixture in the synthesis of g-C3N4 for photocatalytic removal of tetracycline
TL;DR: In this paper , KCl was employed to mix with or cover the top of the precursors, namely, melamine and urea, for photocatalytic tetracycline (TC) removal.
