Schmid,Christian Soenke,Eric Stadler,Marcos Suarez,Massimo Turatto,Stéphane Udry,Farrokh Vakili,Zahed Wahhaj,Francois Wildi,Jacopo Antichi +92 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spectral energy distribution (SED) of the A-type gas giants surrounding HR-8799 was obtained using the infrared dual-band imager and spectrograph (IRDIS) subsystem.
Journal ArticleDOI
Discovery of a Companion Candidate in the HD 169142 Transition Disk and the Possibility of Multiple Planet Formation
Maddalena Reggiani,Sascha P. Quanz,Michael Meyer,Laurent Pueyo,Olivier Absil,Adam Amara,Guillem Anglada,Henning Avenhaus,Julien Girard,Carlos Carrasco Gonzalez,James R. Graham,Dimitri Mawet,Farzana Meru,Julien Milli,Mayra Osorio,Schuyler Wolff,José M. Torrelles +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented L'- and J-band high contrast observations of HD 169142, obtained with the Very Large Telescope/NACO AGPM vector vortex coronagraph and the Gemini Planet Imager, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Orbital and atmospheric characterization of the planet within the gap of the PDS 70 transition disk

TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral energy distribution of PDS 70 b indicates a temperature typical for young giant planets and the detailed atmospheric analysis indicates that a circumplanetary disk may contribute to the total planet flux.
Journal ArticleDOI
Time-dependent involvement of the dorsal hippocampus in trace fear conditioning in mice.
TL;DR: The results indicate that the dorsal hippocampus and its NMDA receptors play an important role in auditory trace fear conditioning at trace intervals of 15–30‐s length, and point at a time‐dependent role of the dorsal hippocampal in encoding of noncontingent explicit stimuli.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gravity Indicators in the Near-Infrared Spectra of Brown Dwarfs
TL;DR: In this article, the sensitivity to temperature and gravity of the strong absorption features in the J-and K-band spectra of substellar objects was investigated. And the spectral properties of the spectra were compared to field M and L dwarfs and to model spectra from the Lyon group.
