Aerobic oxidation of amines to imines catalyzed by bulk gold powder and by alumina-supported gold
TL;DR: In this paper, the 5% Au/Al2O3 catalyst was used for the aerobic dehydrogenation of amines to imines under the mild conditions of 1 atm O2 and 100 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Methanation of CO2 on Ni/γ-Al2O3: Influence of Pt, Pd or Rh promotion
Maria Mihet,Mihaela D. Lazar +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of noble metal promoted Ni/γ-Al 2 O 3 catalysts, prepared by the co-impregnation method, were used for carbon dioxide methanation in a plug flow reactor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of antibiotics from aqueous solutions by green synthesized magnetite nanoparticles with selected agro-waste extracts
Manuela Stan,Ildiko Lung,Maria-Loredana Soran,Cristian Leostean,Adriana Florina Popa,Maria Stefan,Mihaela D. Lazar,Ocsana Opriş,Teofil-Danut Silipas,Alin Sebastian Porav +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, three types of green synthesized magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4 NPs) were used for the removal of a mixture of seven antibiotics, namely piperacillin (PIP), tazobactam (TAZ), sulfamethoxazole (SUL), tetracycline (TET), trimethoprim (TRI), ampicillin (AMP) and erythromycin (ERY) from aqueous media.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gold metal-catalyzed reactions of isocyanides with primary amines and oxygen: analogies with reactions of isocyanides in transition metal complexes.
TL;DR: Bulk gold metal is observed to catalyze reactions of isocyanides with primary amines and O2 to give carbodiimide product whereas homogeneous metal ion catalysts give formamidines [HC(=NR)(NHR')].
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydrogen production by ethanol steam reforming on nickel catalysts: Effect of support modification by CeO2 and La2O3
Monica Dan,Maria Mihet,Zsolt Tasnadi-Asztalos,Árpád Imre-Lucaci,Gabriel Katona,Mihaela D. Lazar +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a thermodynamic study of ethanol steam reforming was performed to find the thermodynamic equilibrium composition of reaction products in particular experimental reaction conditions used in this work, and the best hydrogen yield was obtained for Ni/La 2 O 3 -ZrO 2 catalyst.
