First-principles investigation of chemical and structural disorder in magnetic Ni 2 Mn 1 + x Sn 1 − x Heusler alloys
Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Vasiliy D. Buchelnikov,Mikhail A. Zagrebin,Peter Entel,Sanjubala Sahoo,Sanjubala Sahoo,Masako Ogura +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present ab initio calculations of magnetic exchange parameters of stoichiometric Heusler compound Ni${}_{2}$MnSn and a few nonstoichiometric Ni-Mn-Sn alloys, which are compared to those obtained from a mean field approximation using the Heisenberg model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mikhail A. Zagrebin,Mikhail A. Zagrebin,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Vasiliy D. Buchelnikov +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, structural, magnetic and electronic properties of stoichiometric Co2 YZ Heusler alloys have been studied by means of ab initio calculations and Monte Carlo simulations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase diagram of magnetostrictive Fe-Ga alloys: insights from theory and experiment
M.V. Matyunina,Mikhail A. Zagrebin,Mikhail A. Zagrebin,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,O.O. Pavlukhina,Vasiliy D. Buchelnikov,Vasiliy D. Buchelnikov,Anatoly M. Balagurov,Igor S. Golovin +9 more
TL;DR: The structural, electronic and magnetic properties of Fe100−xGax alloys are studied computationally in the composition range up to x≤ 31.25 at.%. Ga content as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coulomb correlation in noncollinear antiferromagnetic α -Mn
Aki Pulkkinen,Bernardo Barbiellini,Bernardo Barbiellini,Johannes Nokelainen,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Danil R. Baigutlin,Danil R. Baigutlin,Olga N. Miroshkina,Olga N. TL;DR: In this article, the interplay between magnetic and structural degrees of freedom in elemental Mn is discussed, and the equilibrium volume is shown to be sensitive to magnetic interactions between the Mn atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of magnetic and structural phase transitions on the normal and anomalous Hall effects in Ni-Mn-In-B Heusler alloys
Mikhail Blinov,Anil Aryal,Sudip Pandey,Igor Dubenko,Saikat Talapatra,Valeriy Prudnikov,Erkki Lähderanta,Shane Stadler,Vasiliy D. Buchelnikov,Vladimir V. Sokolovskiy,Mikhail A. Zagrebin,Alexander Granovsky,Naushad Ali +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the anomalous Hall effect coefficients of Ni50Mn35In14.5B0.25B 0.75 and Ni50mn35in14.6B0, respectively, were determined by fitting the field dependencies of the Hall resistivity using magnetization data.
