Graphdiyne for crucial gas involved catalytic reactions in energy conversion applications
TL;DR: A comprehensive review of recent advances in the synthesis and applications of graphdiyne-based catalysts for crucial gas involved reactions is presented in this paper, where new perspectives of opportunities and challenges in developing GDY-based catalyst for gas-involved energy conversion are also discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of mesoporous CdS-quantum-dot-sensitized TiO2 films by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and AFM
TL;DR: A very good correlation has been found between the number of deposition cycles and the particle size and the results showed that XPS technique is a powerful tool in the estimation of the CdS particle size.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine 6G on mesoporous titania films: combined effect of texture and dye aggregation forms
Mohamed Nawfal Ghazzal,H. Kebaili,Mélissa M. F. Joseph,Damien P. Debecker,Pierre Eloy,J. De Coninck,Eric M. Gaigneaux +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the surface developed by the titania sols on their photocatalytic activity was investigated by transmission electronic microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atmospheric ellipsometric porosimetry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Poisoning prevention of TiO2 photocatalyst coatings sputtered on soda-lime glass by intercalation of SiNx diffusion barriers
Eric Aubry,Mohamed Nawfal Ghazzal,Valérie Demange,N. Chaoui,Didier Robert,Alain Billard,Alain Billard +6 more
TL;DR: Amorphous titanium dioxide coatings were deposited at high pressure (about 5 Pa) on cold soda-lime glass by reactive magnetron sputtering in order to obtain anatase form known for its photocatalytic properties, an annealing at 450°C was required as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photocatalytic degradation and mineralization of a malodorous compound (dimethyldisulfide) using a continuous flow reactor
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the limit average mineralization rate of Dimethyldisulfide (DMDS) per Watt emitted (for TiO2-P25) and showed that DMDS deactivation occurs after several hours of complete DMDS mineralization, which was expressed by the decrease of CO2 concentration and the appearance of residual DMDS on the outlet side of the reactor.
