Effect of scattering phase function on underwater visible light communication channel models

TL;DR: An underwater VLC channel modeling study is carried out using the Mie SPF which provides a full description of the scattering from phytoplankton particles which dominate the optical properties of most oceanic waters and reveals that larger transmission distances can be achieved through MIE SPF channel model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Predictive closed-loop power control scheme with comb-type sample arrangement for code division multiple access cellular networks

TL;DR: The authors present and analyse a predictive closed-loop power control scheme, which employs a comb-type sample arrangement to effectively compensate multiple power control group delays over mobile fading channels and indicates the superiority of the proposed scheme with its improved robustness under non-ideal conditions.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Experimental Investigation of Pointing Errors on Drone-based FSO Systems

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of pointing errors in drone-based free space optical (FSO) systems is investigated. And the authors employ a supervised learning method for tracking purpose of the FSO signal.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Overview to Airborne LiDAR System, Application Fields and Popular Pointcloud Softwares

TL;DR: Anahtar kelimeler Hava LiDAR as discussed by the authors, Nokta bulutu, Uygulama uygulamaları, Üçgen Ağ Model Özet Hava LIDAR sistemleri bir hava aracının altına monte edilen tarayıcıdan gönderilen lazer ışınin gidişdönüş süresini kaydederek yer objeleri ve algılayıcin a

Spectrum sensing of correlated subbands with colored noise in cognitive radios

TL;DR: This paper draws some closed-form expressions for detection and false alarm probabilities of the proposed detectors in low Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) regime and proposes an iterative algorithm for GLR test when both the covariance matrix of the PUs signal samples and the noise variances in the different subbands, are unknown.
