It is shown that, particularly for terrestrial cellular telephony, the interference-suppression feature of CDMA (code division multiple access) can result in a many-fold increase in capacity over analog and even over competing digital techniques. A single-cell system, such as a hubbed satellite network, is addressed, and the basic expression for capacity is developed. The corresponding expressions for a multiple-cell system are derived. and the distribution on the number of users supportable per cell is determined. It is concluded that properly augmented and power-controlled multiple-cell CDMA promises a quantum increase in current cellular capacity. >

This paper studies the distortion SNR exponent of a tandem source-channel coding system with vector quantization and space-time block coding on multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) fading channels. Specifically, we have obtained two closed-form formulas for the distortion SNR exponents of the tandem system under two settings. One is to design the quantization codebook and partition separately from channel conditions and the other is to design them based on channel conditions. In addition, as the two formulas happen to be the same, which suggests that the optimization of quantization codebook and partition designs with or without channel information will not effect the distortion SNR exponents, we determine the optimal spectral efficiency, which maximizes the distortion SNR exponent of the studied coding system.

Ortaya çıkan bu model, geniş bir araştırma yelpazesinde verilerin toplanması ve paylaşılması bakımından yenilikçi bir araç haline gelmiştir. Sosyal medya platformlarında herkese açık olarak paylaşılan fotoğraflar ve videolar, nesnelerin üç boyutlu (3B) gerçekliğe dayalı dijital modellerini oluşturmak için zaman ve maliyet açısından etkin bir fırsat sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Youtube platformundan ücretsiz olarak elde edilen insansız hava aracı (İHA) verileri ve Hareket ile Nesne Oluşturma (SfM) tekniği kullanılarak Truva Atı’nın 3B modellenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, kitle kaynaklı İHA verileri kullanılarak ahşap eserlerin 3B modellenmesi alanında çalışmalar gerçekleştiren araştırmacılara ulaşmayı hedeflemekte, ahşap eserlerin korunması ve gelecek nesillere aktarılması için referans oluşturabilecek yenilikçi bir yaklaşım sunmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuçları, ahşap eserlerin 3B modellenmesinde kitle kaynaklı İHA verilerinin, veri kaynağı olarak uygunluğunu göstermiştir. Gelecekte, kitle kaynak kullanımının yaygınlaşması ve görüntü kalitesinin daha yüksek çözünürlüklü hale gelmesi, bu tür araştırmalara artan bir ivme kazandıracak ve yeni araştırmaların önünü açacaktır.

The aim of this research is to examine teacher audits conducted by school principals on the basis of the opinions of preschool teachers. The study's working group consists of 20 preschool teachers working in schools with official independent kindergartens and kindergartens in the Central District of Diyarbakir province in the 2020-2021 academic year. The research is a qualitative study aimed at identifying problems and solutions for the dissemination of preschool education. Case science pattern was used in the study. Focusing on phenomena that we are aware of but do not have a deep and detailed understanding is called the phenomenon science (fenemenology) pattern. According to the participants, the training that school principals receive in relation to course supervision has made course supervision more professional, and all this has made education and training more permanently efficient. At the same time, it was concluded that the teachers participating in the meeting were not independent kindergartens, and that the fact that school principals were from different branches caused some problems that would occur during the course supervision.According to the results of the research, it was found that the course inspections conducted by school principals were not very important, mostly due to the density of the principals. It has been observed that school principals notify teachers before conducting a course audit, and the element that school principals pay most attention to during the course audit is the presentation of the course. In addition, it has been found that teachers believe that course inspections contribute to them from an educational point of view. It was found that the greatest contribution of course inspections was from the pain of teachers to the pain of seeing their shortcomings.

In this paper, we investigate link adaptation for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)-based multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) visible light communication (VLC) system. The MIMO system under consideration employs repetition coding, therefore all the transmitters emit the same information. We propose a rate adaptation algorithm where the modulation size is selected among the available constellation sets. The receiver first calculates the instantaneous signal-to-noise ratio per subcarrier, then determines the maximum constellation size on each subcarrier that can be supported while satisfying a predefined target bit error rate. Our numerical results reveal that a peak data rate of more than 1.14 Gbits/sec can be achieved using LEDs with cut-off frequency of 10 MHz in typical office spaces.
