TL;DR: Morpholinium bisulfate [morH][HSO4] was found to be highly inexpensive, efficient, and reusable catalyst to promote the acylation of phenols, thiols, alcohols, and amines in presence of acetic anhydride under solvent-free condition with excellent yields by stirring at room temperature.
