Electrospinning of double-layer chitosan-flaxseed mucilage nanofibers for sustained release of Ziziphora clinopodioides essential oil and sesame oil

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the physical, mechanical, structural, morphological, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties of chitosan-flaxseed mucilage (CH-FM) nanofibers enriched with Ziziphora clinopodioides essential oil (ZEO; 0, 0.25, and 0.75 ml/100
Journal ArticleDOI

Screening, determination and confirmation of tetracycline residues in chicken tissues using four-plate test, ELISA and HPLC-UV methods: comparison between correlation results

TL;DR: In this paper, residues of tetracycline groups were quantified in 120 broiler chickens carcasses (including breast, liver and thigh tissues) by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and also four-plate test (FPT) and ELISA methods as primary screening tests.
Journal ArticleDOI

Occurrence, seasonal variation and risk assessment of exposure to aflatoxin M1 in Iranian traditional cheeses.

TL;DR: A total of 360 traditional cheeses collected from different parts of Iran were analyzed for aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) using an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Frequency of AFM1 and its concentration ranges of all the ELISA positive samples were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FD) as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical Composition and In Vitro Antibacterial Activity of Ferulago angulata (Schlecht.) Boiss Essential Oil

TL;DR: The results indicated that F. angulata essential oil might be a potential rich source of compounds with antibacterial properties against food-borne bacteria.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of tetracyclines in meat using two phases freezing extraction method and HPLC-DAD

TL;DR: In this article, a simple, reliable, sensitive, and reproducible method for simultaneous clean-up and preconcentration of 4 tetracyclines in chicken meats based on two phase freezing method was introduced.
