TL;DR: In this paper , the clinical characteristics and outcomes of critically ill COPD patients with obstructive pulmonary disease were described and compared to patients without obstructive disease, the patients with COPD were younger, suffered from less severe disease on admission, and experienced similar adverse events and outcomes.
