An Overview on SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) and Other Human Coronaviruses and Their Detection Capability via Amplification Assay, Chemical Sensing, Biosensing, Immunosensing, and Clinical Assays
Yasin Orooji,Hessamaddin Sohrabi,Nima Hemmat,Fatemeh Oroojalian,Behzad Baradaran,Ahad Mokhtarzadeh,Mohamad Mohaghegh,Hassan Karimi-Maleh +7 more
TL;DR: Developing smaller size platforms is one approach toward applying phone apps, as well as utilizing LFA, biosensors, and nanobiosensors detection techniques, for SARS-CoV-2 detection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Covid-19: Perspectives on Innate Immune Evasion.
TL;DR: Knowing the immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 and its immunoevasion approaches will improve the understanding of pathogenesis, virus clearance, and contribute toward vaccine and immunotherepeutic design and evaluation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neutrophils, Crucial, or Harmful Immune Cells Involved in Coronavirus Infection: A Bioinformatics Study
Nima Hemmat,Afshin Derakhshani,Hossein Bannazadeh Baghi,Nicola Silvestris,Behzad Baradaran,Simona De Summa +5 more
TL;DR: Neutrophil activation and neutrophil degranulation are the most activated biological processes in the SARS infection as well as the neutrophilia, basophilia, and lymphopenia predicted by deconvolution analysis of samples, and using Serpins and Arginase inhibitors during SARS-CoV infection may be beneficial for increasing the survival of Sars-positive patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
The roles of signaling pathways in SARS-CoV-2 infection; lessons learned from SARS-CoV and MERS-CoV.
Nima Hemmat,Zahra Asadzadeh,Noora Karim Ahangar,Hajar Alemohammad,Basira Najafzadeh,Afshin Derakhshani,Amir Baghbanzadeh,Hossein Bannazadeh Baghi,Darya Javadrashid,Souzan Najafi,Meriadeg Ar Gouilh,Behzad Baradaran +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors summarize alterations of cellular signaling pathways that are associated with coronavirus infection, particularly SARS-CoV and MERSCoV, and tabulate the therapeutic agents that are currently approved for treating other human diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Association of human papillomavirus infection and inflammation in cervical cancer.
TL;DR: The exact roles of HPV oncogenes in the occurrence of inflammation in cervical tissue, and the effects of other factors in this event are evaluated are evaluated.
