The HabEx workhorse camera (Conference Presentation)

TL;DR: This poster briefly describes one of the two primary HabEx General Astrophysics instruments, the HabEx Workhorse Camera (HWC), a dual-detector UV-to-near-IR imager and multi-object grism spectrometer with a microshutter array and a moderate field-of-view.
Journal ArticleDOI

Probing Interstellar Dust with Infrared Echoes from the Cas A Supernova

TL;DR: In this article, an analysis of an IRS 5-38 {\mu}m spectrum and MIPS photometric measurements of an infrared echo near the Cassiopeia A supernova remnant observed with the Spitzer Space Telescope is presented.
Journal Article

ISOPHOT Serendipity Survey observations of interstellar clouds ? I. Detection of the Coldest Cores in Chamaeleon

TL;DR: In this paper, the distribution of the ISOSS/IRAS based T(I170=I100) colour temperature have been studied in a nearby low-mass star forming region.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Far-infrared space interferometer study IRASSI: motivation, principle design, and technical aspects

TL;DR: First results of the feasibility study IRASSI (Infrared Astronomy Satellite Swarm Interferometry) for an FIR space interferometer are presented and issues regarding the real-time capability of the autonomous relative positioning system are discussed, which is an important aspect for IRASSi where, due to the large raw data rates expected, the interferometric correlation has to be done onboard, quasi in real- time.
