T cell reactivity to the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant is preserved in most but not all individuals

TL;DR: In this article , the authors show that T cell responses in individuals with prior infection, vaccination, both prior infection and vaccination, and boosted vaccination are largely preserved to Omicron spike and non-spike proteins.

T cell reactivity to the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant is preserved in most but not all individuals

TL;DR: Garcia-Beltran et al. as mentioned in this paper reported that T cells from most SARS-CoV-2 infected and/or vaccinated individuals have preserved reactivity to the Omicron variant, and their reactivity is enhanced by booster vaccination.

T cell reactivity to the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant is preserved in most but not all prior infected and vaccinated individuals

TL;DR: It is shown that T cell responses in individuals with prior infection, vaccination, both prior infection and vaccination, and boosted vaccination are largely preserved to Omicron spike and non-spike proteins, however, a subset of individuals with a >50% reduction in T cell reactivity to the Omicrons spike are identified.
