13 Study on Charge Distribution of Carboxymethylated Cotton Fabric by Streaming Potential/Current Measurements

TL;DR: In this article, two interrelated methods of surface electrochemistry for anionic cotton fabrics were investigated by characterizing the zeta potential of the anionized fibers via streaming current (SC) and fiber-pad streaming potential (SP) measurements, which showed only a small percentage of total charges contributed to the surface charge.
Journal ArticleDOI

Correction: Spruce milled wood lignin: linear, branched or cross-linked?

TL;DR: Balakshin et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated linear, branched or cross-linked spruce milled wood lignin and showed that linear lignins are linear, branching or crosslinked.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cellulose dissolution and gelation in NaOH(aq) under controlled CO2 atmosphere: supramolecular structure and flow properties

TL;DR: In this article , the interplay between cellulose crystallization and aggregation with interfibrillar interactions, shear forces, and local changes in the medium's acidity was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heteroaggregation effects on Pickering stabilization using oppositely charged cellulose nanocrystal and nanochitin.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) and nanochitin (NCh) to stabilize oil-in-water Pickering emulsions under conditions of slightly net positive or negative charges, as determined by the CNC/NCh mass ratio.
